| I. | The particulars of its organization, functions and duties: | District Information Technology Society, Jind shall function according to the guidelines issued by the Secretariat for Information Technology, Govt. Of Haryana/Govt. Of India in respect of all e-Governance Projects. Society shall support planning, facilitate implementation & monitor various e-Governance projects & e-services delivery mechanism through close linkage & coordination amongst the various stakeholders, including the line department(s). In this respect the society shall also ensure close coordination with various implementation & facilitation agencies concerned. |
| II. | The powers and duties of its officers and employees: | To promote Information Technology ecosystem as per policy of State Government and decision taken by the Governing Body. The powers and duties of its officers and employees are as per MoU of the society. |
| III. | The procedure followed in the decision making process including channels of supervision and accountability: | Deputy Commissioner-Cum-President, DITS, Jind / Vice President / CEO / Member Secretary / all the members of Governing Body of the DITS Jind are empowered to take decisions. |
| IV. | The norms set by it for the discharge of its functions: | Decision Making authority is the Deputy Commissioner-Cum-President, DITS, Jind. District Information Technology Society, Jind shall function according to the guidelines issued by the Secretariat for Information Technology, Govt. Of Haryana/Govt. Of India or the decisions taken by the Governing Body. In exigency, the President is empowered to take decisions in public interest, however the same need to be placed before the executive or governing body (DITS), Jind for approval. |
| V. | The rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records held by it or under its control or used by its employees: | Instructions issued by the Deputy Commissioner-Cum-President, DITS, Jind & resolutions passed by all members of governing body. |
| VI. | A statement of the categories of documents held by it or under its control: | Personal file, service charges collection by different G2C services. Besides other records required to be maintained in the society are also maintained accurately. |

| VIII. | Details of boards, councils, committees and accessibility of meetings: | The DITS Jind conducts meetings of all members of Governing Body where all activities including financial transactions/audit reports are placed for approval/objections/suggestions.
